NOTICE OF FINAL MEETINGS

IN MEMBERS VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

AND

IN THE MATTER OF THE INSOLVENCY ACT 1986

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a final meeting of the members of McKeowns Solicitors Limited will be held at 10.00 am on 27 November 2020. The meeting will be held at Wyncroft, 30 Rathfriland Road, Newry, Down, BT34 1JZ.

The meeting is called pursuant to Section 94 of the Insolvency Act 1986 for the purpose of receiving an account from the Liquidator explaining the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and to receive any explanation that they may consider necessary. A member entitled to attend and vote is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him, a proxy need not be a member.

In order to comply with current government and health care advice during the Covid-19 pandemic a physical meeting of members cannot take place. In order to provide members with the opportunity to participate in the meeting, the meeting will be held remotely by telephone and/or video conferencing facilities. In order to make suitable arrangements to ensure that all those wishing to participate are able to take part, members are requested to submit their proxy form in advance of the meeting and indicate that they wish to be sent details by email of how they may participate in the meeting at the required time.

The following resolutions will be considered at the members’ meeting:

1. That the Liquidator’s final report and receipts and payments account be approved.

2. That the Liquidator receives his release.
