Notice is hereby given that on 10 October 2022 a petition was presented to Edinburgh Sheriff Court by The University Court of the University of St Andrews, a charitable body registered in Scotland under the registration number SC013532 and incorporated by the Universities (Scotland) Act 1889, as amended by the Universities (Scotland) Act 1966, and having its principal office at College Gate, North Street, St Andrews, Fife KY16 9AJ for an order to wind up Low Emissions Resources Global Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts (Company No. SC576595) and having its registered office at 50 Lothian Road, Festival Square, Edinburgh EH3 9WJ in terms of section 122 of the Insolvency Act 1986; and for the appointment of joint provisional liquidators, being Callum Carmichael and Stuart Robb both of FRP Advisory Trading Limited, Apex 3, 95 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh EH12 5HD, qualified Insolvency practitioners, to be provisional liquidator of the said company and authorises them to exercise the powers contained in paragraphs 4 and 5 of Part II of schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986 for a limited period of 3 months from the date hereof (unless otherwise extended) or until the appointment of an interim liquidator, whichever shall first occur.

Sheriff Sheehan, by interlocutor dated 10 October 2022, appointed inter alia the petition to be advertised once in each of the Edinburgh Gazette and the Scotsman newspapers and allowed Low Emissions Resources Global Limited, and any other persons claiming an interest to lodge answers thereto, if so advised, by email to Edinburgh Sheriff Court at edinburghcommercial@scotcourts.gov.uk within 8 days after intimation, service or advertisement of the petition.
