I, Claire Louise Middlebrook, 11a Dublin Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3PG (IP No: 9650), hereby give notice that on 19 April 2017 I was appointed Interim Liquidator of Fithandel (Scotland) Limited by Interlocutor of the Sheriff of Grampian Highlands and Islands at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. Notice is also given in terms of Section 138(4) of the Insolvency Act 1986 that a meeting of creditors of the above named Company will be held in the offices of Middlebrooks Business Recovery & Advice, 6a Bon Accord Crescent, Aberdeen, AB11 6DN, on 31 May 2017, at 12.00 noon for the purpose of choosing a person to be Liquidator of the Company and of determining whether to establish a Liquidation Committee in terms of Section 142 of the Insolvency Act 1986. Creditors can attend the meeting in person and vote, and are entitled to vote if they have submitted a statement of claim by the commencement of the meeting, and the claim has been accepted in whole or in part. If you cannot attend in person, or do not wish to attend but still wish to vote at the meeting, you can either nominate a person to attend on your behalf, or you may nominate the chairman of the meeting, who will be a director of the Company, to vote on your behalf. Creditors must lodge their proxy by no later than 12.00 noon on the business day before the meeting, together with a statement of claim, which is to be lodged by no later than the commencement of the meeting, although creditors are requested to lodge it with their proxy. All statements of claim and proxies must be lodged with Middlesbrooks Business Recovery & Advice, 6a Bon Accord Crescent, Aberdeen, AB11 6DN. A copy of ‘A Creditors Guide to Liquidators’ Fees’ published by the Association of Business Recovery Professionals is available to download at www.middlebrooksadvice.com. A hard copy can be obtained on request from the above address. A list of the names and addresses of the Company’s creditors will be available for inspection free of charge at Middlebrooks Business Recovery & Advice, 6a Bon Accord Crescent, Aberdeen, AB11 6DN between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on the two business days prior to the meeting.
